FLC Florence Grill

FLC Florence Grill was born from the encounter between Florence and Asian culinary culture. The name FLC is inspired by Feilengcui (翡冷翠), the poetic name by which the famous Chinese poet Xu Zhimo described Florence after visiting it in 1925. Amid the hills of Florence and Fiesole, Xu Zhimo was so deeply moved by the city’s beauty that he dedicated his famous poem “A Night in Florence” to it, transforming Florence into a symbol of beauty, romance, and inspiration in modern Chinese literature. From this inspiration comes FLC Florence Grill, a restaurant where culinary cultures and traditions come together and are reinterpreted around the grill. At the heart of the experience is the grill right at the table, the centerpiece of a shared dining journey featuring select meats—beef, pork, chicken, lamb, fish, shellfish, and vegetables. Rounding out the menu are Korean and Asian specialties, including hot pot, rice dishes, ramen, dumplings, soups, and other creations designed to bring diverse flavors, aromas, and traditions to the table. In this way, FLC aims to highlight a broader connection between China and Italy—two cultures united by centuries of exchange, knowledge, and cultural fusion. This dialogue reached one of its most significant moments during the Renaissance and continues today through cuisine, culture, and conviviality.
